One of those scents you keep coming back to
I didn’t expect to like this as much as I do. I picked up Turathi Blue knowing it was often compared to Bvlgari Tygar, and from the first spray it just worked. Clean, bright, and effortless in a way that doesn’t try too hard. The atomizer is excellent, and the quality feels way above the price. After letting it sit and macerate for a bit, the scent noticeably smoothed out and became even more enjoyable to wear. Projection is solid for the first few hours, and on me it lasts around 4–5 hours, which feels very reasonable for this style of fragrance. What really sold me is how easy it is to reach for. It’s become one of those fragrances I put on without thinking and every time I do, my girlfriend comments on how good it smells. For around $30, it honestly feels like a steal. If you’re debating a blind buy or looking for a safe gift, this is one I’d recommend without hesitation. It’s simple, confident, and just really well done.

Longevity
Afnan Turathi Brown is a warm, spicy, and sophisticated fragrance that delivers impressive character for the price. The opening hits with a bold mix of spice and patchouli, gradually settling into a smoother blend of amber, vanilla, and woody notes. Once it dries down, it becomes a rich, elegant scent with a slightly sweet, warm finish that feels both masculine and refined.Best For: Cooler weather, evenings, formal wear, or any time you want a polished, confident scent.

Sharper and more “noisy” than Tygar, but nonetheless a decent substitute
Ran out of Tygar and thought I’d try something 1/10th of the price–who knows, maybe it’s just as good? It projects farther and seems to last even longer than Tygar, and has a sharper citrus smell (as opposed to the soft round warmth of Tygar) , and maybe a bit on the synthetic side, but quite nice overall. Definitely not as good, but very good for the price. Also, to those who are saying to use “4-5” sprays, what the hell are you doing? You’ve grown insensitive to cologne through repeated exposure, so it doesn’t seem like much, but it’s extremely annoying to those around you. I actually turned someone down for a job because they showed up to the interview coated in some cologne that made people sneeze as they walked past. Downright obnoxious. One spray is enough, this is for people right next to you, not the whole room!

Worth it
Amazing fragrance, it’s potent and has a decent projection, is perfectly unisex, my wife wears it too.Longevity is fairly good for the scent profile. I would say it lasts 5-7 hours or more as a skin scent; depends on your skin of course. I blind bought this, and because of this I also got the electric version and I’m looking to get the brown version too.

Smells great, performs well!
Really nice! I’m no expert on perfumes but man this smells great. Impressive packaging and beautiful heavy blue bottle with a nice lid. Also impressed with the sillage and longevity. Good arms throw for 4 or 5 hours and then keep getting whiffs for another 3 or 4 hours. For this price point I’m kind of blown away! Good stuff McGruff!

Knockout punch of a quality clone
Another probably not widely known clone or clone with a twist. On open it’s just a blast to the nose of citrus with a sweet grapefruit in the background. If you like citrus then this is definitely right up your alley. As it develops you start to get an amber/ woody note. I’m not sure why but I also get a decent powdery smell as well. Not like a talc powder but something in there that is slightly fresh powdery smelling. It is both clean and refreshing and when it mixes with the citrus holding on through the dry down it is amazing. In the end you start to get some musk and a slight spice.Overall this lasts for a good 8 hours. With solid projection for 2 hours or so on skin. This was a blind buy after hearing it be referenced as a Tygar clone or clone with a twist on YouTube. I am very glad that I did take the chance and hope it was as good as they all said it was.You can wear this day or night. In the office or not. It’s very versatile and a quality scent overall. It can also lean towards women as well as men. It really doesn’t matter but some women might not want the woody dry down – it’s all up to personal presence.Out of the box this was an amazing grab. Let it chill and mature for a month or so and it becomes a banger of a choice. Especially if it is close enough to the $400 price tag for Tygar.

It’s just ok…long lasting for sure
So I have a mixed opinion on Turathi blue. The value is good. The cologne does last a long while with about 6 sprays. The scent is the main flaw for me. This is one of those colognes that smell like a cologne. Let me explain…. I like colognes that make ppl say “oh, you smell good”. This cologne just smells like you’re wearing a “cologne”. It’s fresh and masculine and slightly unique…but it’s still not something I would wear even occasionally. I will add it to my diffusers at home

A Fragrance the Color of Dust, Leather, and the Setting Sun
The bottle of Afnan Turathi Brown stands firm and honest, like an old friend waiting at the bar after a long road traveled. I uncorked it the way a man opens a good bottle of rum—without ceremony, but with quiet expectation. The scent rose up warm and deep, heavy with spice and wood, the kind of notes that linger on your coat after a night spent in places where stories are born.It is a bold fragrance, but not reckless. It carries itself the way a man should—steady, unhurried, certain of the space he occupies. There is sweetness at the edges, just enough to remind you that even the hardest journeys have moments of mercy.I give it four stars. Not because it fails, but because nothing perfect ever tells a good story. Turathi Brown is a scent for men who have known long nights, loud laughter, and the weight of silence—and still choose to walk forward. It is good. Strong. And it stays with you.

Love this! Blind buy and I want more!
Bought multiple as gifts it smells absolutely amazing and lasts all day on my boyfriend. I would recommended it! I don’t know if it is a dupe for any high end perfume but I love it and bottle and packaging feel high quality!
