It would depend on the size of the 12 year old. My kid is 13 year old who is 5’ 2”, 110 lbs and this sweatshirt fits perfectly.
How silky is the jacket, is this warm?
Good question. This hoodie is not cotton, but a polyester blend. It is relatively shiny and thin, it offers some warmth, but enough for a serious winter day, rain or snow. It is a great hoodie!
